Sorry, ‘925’

If its any consolation, we’re not sorry for the impending obsession you will have for Sorry once you listen to their debut, 925, because we’re obsessed with them too. Some argue that there really isn’t any one sound that bridges together the music of bands currently on the London indie-alt-rock scene, and they’d probably be right. It’s not so much a sound as it is an attitude, a feeling, a vibe. Parodic, detached, sardonic at times, but still somehow authentic–and above all, seriously talented. Perhaps that’s what brings together bands like Sorry, Pregoblin, and Insecure Men. All we know is that this post-punk tinged dose of rock is worth listening to–and quick, before they become too famous and give it all up for a regular 9 to 5.
